Who We Are

We started Pals Courier and Cargo for one simple reason: almost every family in Nepal has someone abroad. Sons and daughters study in Japan, Australia and the UK; brothers and sisters work in Dubai, Qatar and South Korea; relatives live across India. They miss home food, need documents from Nepal, and look forward to Dashain and Tihar gifts. Sending a parcel to them should be simple, honest and affordable.

Pals Courier and Cargo Pvt. Ltd. was registered with the Office of the Company Registrar, Government of Nepal, on 24 April 2024 (2081 Baisakh 12). Our registered business is courier service activities and air freight transport. Since then, our team in Khasibazar, Kathmandu has packed, weighed and sent more than 13,000 parcels worldwide.

Our office is in the National Business Trade Center (NBTC) Building in Khasibazar, close to Kalanki on the Ring Road, which makes it easy to reach from anywhere in Kathmandu Valley. Customers often drop in on the way to work to weigh a box, ask about customs rules or collect a tracking number, and many first-time customers come in person just to see that we are a real office before they send anything.

We are a courier company in Kathmandu that works mainly with families and students, not big businesses. That shapes everything we do: clear prices in Nepali rupees, free pickup, help with packing, and someone you can call or visit when you have a question.

What We Do: International Courier from Nepal

We provide international courier from Nepal for personal parcels and documents. Our six main routes have published rates, dedicated delivery partners and their own service pages:

Each route has its own rules and partners:

• UK: parcels are delivered by DPD in 4–6 business days. Documents cost Rs. 4,500. Meat and dairy, including ghee, cannot be sent.
• Japan: door-to-door delivery anywhere in Japan in 10–14 business days. Labelled achar and ghee in small bottles are allowed; rice and jewellery are not.
• Dubai and the UAE: delivered by Aramex with instant tracking in 4–6 days, to every emirate. Labelled ghee in a sealed container is allowed.
• Australia: documents by DHL or Australia Post, parcels by Australia Post, Aramex, CouriersPlease or Team Global Express in 7–14 days. No food of any kind.
• South Korea: delivered by Korea Post in 4–6 days. A copy of the receiver's passport is needed for every booking.
• India: documents by air in 4–6 days, parcels by road in 10–15 days, delivered by DTDC and Shree Maruti Courier.

Besides these routes, we also send parcels to the USA, Canada, Europe, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Singapore and most other countries on request. We handle personal shipments only: clothes, documents, gifts, labelled food where the destination allows it, and personal belongings. We do not handle commercial or bulk cargo.

Who We Serve

Most of our customers are families in Kathmandu Valley sending parcels to someone they love. As a courier company in Kathmandu, we see the same groups every day:

• Parents of students abroad in Japan, Australia, the UK and South Korea, sending warm clothes, documents, home food (where allowed) and festival gifts.
• Families of workers in Dubai, the UAE and India, sending clothes, documents and gifts for Dashain, Tihar and other festivals.
• Nepalis living abroad who ask relatives at home to send certificates, transcripts, legal papers and personal belongings.
• Students and job seekers who need to send applications and original documents quickly by express courier.

Because our customers are mostly families, not companies, we explain every rule in simple words, in English or Nepali, and we never rush anyone at the counter.

Our office team checks every item, packs every box and prepares every customs declaration by hand. When you call us, you speak to the same people who handle your parcel.

How We Work

1. You tell us what you want to send. Call or WhatsApp us with the destination, weight and items. We confirm the price from our published rates.
2. We check your items. Every country has its own rules. We tell you what can go and what cannot before you pack, for free.
3. Free pickup or drop-off. We collect from anywhere in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, or you can visit our Khasibazar office.
4. We pack, weigh and declare. Fragile items are wrapped, food is checked for labels, and the customs declaration is prepared with clear item names and real values.
5. Tracking number. Once your parcel is dispatched, you receive a tracking number to share with the receiver.
6. Delivery and follow-up. Our partner delivers to the receiver's door. If there is a customs question, we help sort it out.

How We Keep Your Parcel Safe

A parcel is only useful if it arrives in one piece and clears customs. That is why every box at Pals Courier and Cargo goes through the same checks before it leaves our office:

• Item check against destination rules. Ghee is fine for Dubai but not for the UK or Australia; Japan does not accept rice or any jewellery; Australia accepts no food at all. We know these rules and check them for you.
• Battery and flammable check. Phones, power banks, perfume and aerosols are removed before dispatch, because one hidden item can stop the whole parcel.
• Packing check. Fragile items are double-boxed, liquids are sealed in bags, and clothes are used to fill gaps.
• Address check. We confirm the postcode, phone number and, for South Korea, the receiver's passport details before booking.

• Published prices. Every rate is on our website in Nepali rupees, so you know the cost before you send. No hidden charges.
• Honest advice. If an item is not allowed, we tell you before you pay, not after the parcel is held at customs.

• Privacy. We use your details and the receiver's details only to send and deliver your parcel.
• Someone to talk to. You can call, WhatsApp, email or walk into our office during opening hours.
